Destinies Loving Me and Loving You
Valentine’s Day was always so special. A poem, a gift, a union of love. I remember the first time we were apart early in our marriage when Jamie was converting the Doozies into Smurf Mountain for Kings Dominion so we could go on the National Theater Institute Exchange to Paris, France and he was coined as Carpenter Smurf. We would listen to each other breathe on the phone, pre-cell phone or internet. It was the longest stretch we’d been apart in our plus or minus six year relationship. In those days, hugs and kisses throughout the day as we worked at the Virginia Museum theater were commonplace. We reveled in each other.
Lines blurry unable to discern where I ended and he began. A divine union of we radiating passion and pure love. Jamie drove across the mountains in a bad storm with almost no visibility in the dark to bring me these beautiful flower-like opal earrings that I still have, to make love and spend a few precious hours together. Our love so big that it could not be contained. So grateful for this memory of love on Valentine’s Day bathed in the wealth of sheer abundance that is sure to flow my way. Follow my path where there is no fear or suffering, no shame or greed or lack. Blissings all as we heed ascension’s call bathed in the wonder of it all. Happy Valentine’s Day. May all best dreams come true as we manifest our destinies loving me and loving you.
To My Love
She planted love’s seed
inside you first
Armed with sonnets,
whimsy and sparkling eyes
You lured me to the sea
To partake of her offerings
Of love’s carry-me-away
caresses
To stand together
Against all odds
Forever
